Merch4Relief Sells Merch to Support Restaurants
Over 5-7 million jobs are expected to be lost in hospitality due to the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. Restaurants need our help more than ever.
Here’s how you can help in the short term.
If the restaurant is doing take away, you can order out. It’s as simple as that. No need to panic when you’re having a craving for your favorite dumplings.
The best way to see who is already offering take-out in your area is by signing up for DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats. Many restaurants are doing curbside pickup only, so be sure to check your favorite restaurant's website for details too.
Treat Yourself Ahead of Time
If the restaurant is selling gift cards online you can purchase a gift card to use for later. Have an anniversary coming up later this year? Or maybe you need a good birthday gift idea? Stock up on gift cards. You really can’t go wrong.
To make things even sweeter, Rally for Restaurants is matching all of those gift card purchases. All you have to do is post the gift card you purchased on social media and hashtag your post with #RallyforRestaurants.
So far you’re up to your ears in take-out boxes and have a few gift cards to spend on future dinners. And if you’re anything like us you love buying shirts from your favorite places on earth.
We at Merch4Relief are partnering with restaurants all over the country to sell and ship their merchandise. Everything from t-shirts, to hoodies, hats and more. Every item purchased from a specific restaurant on our website is money in that restaurant pocket. Don't believe us? Read our FAQ
The great part about ordering merchandise is that you can help restaurants all over the country. Check out Found Oyster from Los Angeles’ Silence of the Clams sweatshirt. Great for every seafood / horror movie fanatic. Or keep it classic with a pocket tee from Cambridge, MA’s very own delicious chicken joint, Shy Bird.
I think it’s safe to say what our work from home wardrobe looks like.
If you want to do more to helpHelp us spread the word about Merch4Relief. Share our website with every foodie you know. Tag us on social media (@Merch4Relief) when you make a purchase and use the hashtags #Merch4Relief #SupportRestaurants. A little goes a long way. This is too small to fail.
